These are all the pieces of onsie week part 2- this is the only step by step I have because my camera died while I was sewing. Putting it together was essentially the same as the bandana tunic, except with pockets and a hem. And I sewed the skirt and top right sides together instead of having the raw edge of the onsie show. That's all there was to it.
Oh, I added the bow to the top, as well. I just sewed a tube, turned it, ironed it, then hand stitched it under the top layer on the top of the shoulders. I didn't sew the bow to the onsie so I could untie it and move it out of the way when she eats.

What a brilliant way to repurpose a onesie! I'm in the midst of re-creating clothing for my little one, but I had not thought of the onesies potential. Thank you for sharing your wonderfully created outfit :-)
This is adorable! I just adore the red stripe and aqua together - Fantastic job! Thanks so much for joining the Sunday Showcase – I greatly appreciate it! Hope you have a wonderful week! ~ Stephanie Lynn
Clever clogs! I love this little outfit and the fact that it's 'baby clothes reworked for the toddler is genius. Following immediately! Oh, thought I should mention, I can't sew for the life of me, but so wanna!!!
PS - your daughter is gorgeous.
I think you should sew the bow to the onesie- please be careful, my daughter almost choked herself/suffocated, when she was little messing around with a ribbon around her neck. (but that's just my opinion!) It is really cute though!
