When I saw this at Cluck Cluck Sew, I knew I had to make one. I pretty much did the exact same thing she did, but my pillow cover was a bit bigger, about 24" by 20". I wanted to replace my embroidered IKEA (which I love love love but they're very springy/summery) covers with something more seasonal.

Here's my version of Cluck Cluck Sew's lovely pillow:
My scrap drawer is not as diverse as hers (or as pretty- so many gorgeous fall fabrics), so not every leaf is unique. I tried to make up for it by having lots of textures: quilting cottons (of course), knits, ribbed knits, corduroy, and felt.
I love it. Now I need to make another fall-ish cover to replace my other IKEA one. I was thinking a big acorn, maybe. The original plan was to make another of these beauties, but now that one's done, I kind of think it might be too much.
Oh, I love this! I love what you did! It looks so fun and colorful. I love being able to pull fall in, fall colors are some of my favorites. I like the different textures, that is a great idea. Thanks for sharing, this is going in my DIY wish file! http://kensingtoncottage.blogspot.com

I love pillows and this one is just wonderful. I love the use of scraps. I live in a small town with no local fabric store and I have to be creative sometimes and use what I have on hand. This is such a good idea to file away!
Great pillow! I love all the texture and color and I also love that it isn't fussy...not turned edges. I'd think a second one just like it would be terrific. Oh, and I love your Ikea pillow too :)

Want to come over and sew me a quick slipcover for my porch pillows? LOL I have the fabric even. ;) Yes, the woman who doesn't sew bought fabric with plans to cover her porch pillows...you can imagine how far I've gotten with that project. LOL
